Meletti Cioccolato
This liquor is like liquid Chocolate. It is thick, and has a 21% alcohol content, higher than most chocolate liquors, and is unbelievably more chocolaty! You will truly be surprised!
Since this product is so thick, you will need to shake it to combine with other liquids to blend. If not, if will either sink to the bottom of your glass, or, the other liquor will float on top. Try these on for size.. If you do not have a shaker, just stir real well to incorporate!
Chocolate Martini
2 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
1 1/2 oz.
Meletti Cioccolato
1 oz. raspberry liqueur (optional)
Splash Licor 43 (Spanish Vanilla Liquor) optional
• Combine the vanilla vodka,
Meletti Cioccolato and raspberry
liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Shake well.
• Strain the mixture into a cocktail or
martini glass. Add the Licor 43
Chocolate "Fondue"
I also hold "Fondue Parties." I take equal parts of the Meletti and flavored rums. I prefer Coconut Jack's Banana, Coconut, Cherry and Mango. Mix one rum with the chocolate. If your eyes were closed, you would think you were eating a chocolate covered banana or cherry, and not a drink! trust me on this one! Shake these well in a shaker on ice and strain into a cordial glass.
Hot Chocolate Toddie
Mix warmed Cioccolato with Creme or Eggnog. I use 2 parts to 1 part Ciccolato. I usually add Amaretto, or Frangelico (which is belovedly referred to as Uncle Jemima in my home due to its smooth sweetness and of course the bottle looks like the male version of the pancake syrup bottle!) or Italian Biscotti Liquor and shake together, and pour into a glass.
You can even just heat the Meletti and serve it warm and straight with a Cinnamon stick.
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle
2 1/2 oz Stoli Vanilla Vodka
1 1/2 oz Meletti Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz Chambord
splash of half & half and simple syrup
**Simple syrup is SIMPLE to make! Bring 1 part water to a boil and mix in 2 parts sugar. When sugar is dissolved, removed from heat and store in the fridge.
Chocolate Sgt. Bailey
2 1/2 oz Stoli Vanil Vodka
1 1/2 oz Meletti Chocolate Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
1/2 oz white crème de cacao
splash half & half
Shake on ice and strain.
Chocolate Berry Kiss
2 1/2 oz Meletti
Chocolate Liqueur
1 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur
Splash of cream and a splash of club soda
Shake well over ice, strain.
Italian Horn
2 1/2 oz Stoli Vanil Vodka
1 1/2 Meletti Cioccolato
1 oz Banana Schnapps
Scoop of Vanilla ice cream and garnished and sliced banana.
Dessert Options
Drizzle this chocolate liquor over ice cream, on pound cake, top with whipped cream, cinnamon or nutmeg.. Mix with eggnog or milk or cream! This is truly a versatile drink!
